Salmon Creek Dam project remote area outside Juneau, AK. The project required take up to 48" deep 6" diameter core samples in various locations throughout the dam, and sample shipping for laboratory testing.

A very challenging and exciting project due to its remote location and difficulty of the job. Helicopters were used daily to move up gear and personnel. The project required the use of a suspended platform. CCC crew flew to Seattle for special training and certification on platform setup and operations.

STEVENS INTL AIRPORT COLUMN-BEAM REMOVAL

Complete demolition of the 2nd level of Concourse B,  at Ted Stevens International Airport Anchorage, AK.


Required removal of 30+ concrete beams that were reinforced with 6 number 18 rebar per beam. The use of the wire saw and a large crane were required to complete this project.

A time sensitive project at the Anchorage Waste Transfer Facility were we cut and removed large quantities of concrete slab that was 14" thick in some areas. This project was completed ahead of schedule.
